"The DA63T generation began in 2002. Several improvements were made to the truck: a more comfortable and better-designed interior, higher-quality inner door panels, and seats that are more resistant to tearing. The engine was upgraded to the K6A, still a 600cc 3-cylinder fuel-injected engine, but now with a timing chain instead of a belt—meaning no maintenance is required in that regard.
Despite the engine being located under the seats, the Carry DA63T has a hood. Under it, you'll find the brake fluid reservoir, windshield washer fluid tank, and the coolant expansion tank.
The 5-speed manual transmission is paired with a 4WD system that includes a transfer case with both high and low gear ranges. This truck comes equipped with power steering and air conditioning. The engine is very quiet and surprisingly smooth for a 3-cylinder. The Suzuki Carry handles fantastically—it's easy to reverse, and it can slip into tight spaces effortlessly. Special mention goes to the turning radius, which is incredibly tight, even though this generation has a wheelbase that is two feet longer than the DD51T
